Hello,
the attached patch to the PKGBUILD (apply with -p2) does the following:
- upgrades openvpn to the current stable version
- moves examples to /usr/share/openvpn
- installs pam-auth and down-root plugins (very useful if you run openvpn as a
non-root user and need to run a 'down' script)
- installs easy-rsa (without support for 2.0 and Windows) in /usr/share/openvpn
- corrects the upstream url

This patch also closes #3330.

Reason for closing:  Fixed
Additional comments about closing:  All implemented in openvpn 2.1_rc19-1 in testing.

I forgot to change the upstream URL, but I changed it in trunk so it'll be correct automatically with the next update.

I say don't add the pam-auth and down-root plugins by default.
Maybe make them a separate package, something like.. 'openvpn-plugins'.
I do think the easy-rsa scripts should be put in, as well as a the addition of a semi useful rc.d script. That would be nice.

I've now adopted openvpn, and added the easy-rsa-2.0 scripts to the openvpn package. I wasn't aware of this report until after I had done this, but I'll look at the rest of it now.

What's the status of this? The openvpn package is currently 2.0.9-3, was it fixed?

2.0.9-6 all included features, except: examples in /usr/share/openvpn, plugins installed in /usr/share instead of the correct /usr/lib, CFLAGS for plugins
