Hello,
the attached patch to the PKGBUILD (apply with -p2) does the following: - upgrades openvpn to the current stable version - moves examples to /usr/share/openvpn - installs pam-auth and down-root plugins (very useful if you run openvpn as a non-root user and need to run a 'down' script) - installs easy-rsa (without support for 2.0 and Windows) in /usr/share/openvpn - corrects the upstream url This patch also closes #3330. |

Additional comments about closing: All implemented in openvpn 2.1_rc19-1 in testing.
I forgot to change the upstream URL, but I changed it in trunk so it'll be correct automatically with the next update.

Maybe make them a separate package, something like.. 'openvpn-plugins'.
I do think the easy-rsa scripts should be put in, as well as a the addition of a semi useful rc.d script. That would be nice.
