MPlayer 1.0rc2-6 can't play FM radio using a capture card. To enable FM radio support, please apply these two patches from upstream SVN:

http://svn.mplayerhq.hu/mplayer/trunk/stream/stream_radio.c?r1=24848&r2=24849&view=patch

and pass the additional --enable-radio --enable-radio-capture options to the ./configure script.

No. As of mplayer-28347-2-i686, the error message is: "MPlayer was compiled without Radio interface support." You should pass the --enable-radio --enable-radio-capture options to the ./configure script to enable it.

Hugo: I need to rebuild mplayer. I can enable this configure switch and the other ones mentionned in the other bug reports if you want. Just let me know.

I won't do  FS#11332  as it's a bit too involved (check up license, add armnb to extra if allowed, etc). I'll do FM radio, enca and lirc support. What about  FS#13265  ? If you can quickly find a fix for  FS#13032 , I could apply it.

FM radio support has been enabled in mplayer-28347-3 in testing. Please test (see http://www.archlinux.org/pipermail/arch-dev-public/2009-February/010332.html) and report any success/failures.
