Description:
After updating to the last hplip version my printer isn't found, running hp-doctor it says its not supported despite being listed in models.dat Reverting to 3.19.8 solves the issue. Additional info: * package version(s) 3.19.11-1 * config and/or log files etc: see attachment * printer: HP_ColorLaserJet_MFP_M278-M281 Steps to reproduce: 1. update 2. scan for printer 3. error |

Looks somilar to https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/64188
Look for a more recent driver at www.driverprinterdownload.com and check
upstream bugs at https://bugs.launchpad.net/hplip or file your own one there.
In the file '/usr/share/hplip/data/models/models.dat', locate the section header
[hp_color_laserjet_mfp_m278-m281]
and remove the underscore between 'color' and 'laserjet'
[hp_colorlaserjet_mfp_m278-m281]
My printer magically reappeared, working once more, including scanning.
