When trying to start emacs 24.5.1 a segmentation fault is encountered. Running emacs with the `-q` option to disable all user options results in successful start-up, but still causes a segmentation fault on exit (C-x C-c).

Attached is the emacs bug report data, as well as a startup log for emacs daemon with -q

The issue still persists after downgrading to emacs 24.4.3

nVidia card and Intel CPU by any chance?

Or really, just an Intel CPU at all? If so, microcode up to date?

Yes, nVidia GTX570 and an Intel i7 4500S.
