Description:
Eclipse and Netbeans both crash on startup with nvidia 349.16-1 installed. Reverting back to nvidia 346.59-1 solved the issue for me. Not related to JDK, tested both OpenJDK and OracleJDK. Additional info: * Logfiles attached. Steps to reproduce: 1. Install nvidia 349.16-1 2. Try to start Eclipse or Netbeans from terminal 3. Exception printed out in terminal/log file |

If they really are, this bug doesn't affect only java applications but basically everything that uses libEGL. Installing intel-ucode package seems to have fixed the issue for a user who traced it back to HLE ops.
Installing the intel-ucode package (https://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/any/intel-ucode/),
and after that updating grub as instructed in the wiki (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Microcode) solved the issue for me as well.
No issues with nvidia 349.16-1 installed.
Nonetheless we should think about reporting this upstream.
