Precisely the same issue with Intellij Idea. Reverting helps, JDK doesn't matter. See the log file attached. I tried to get the log at the location provided, but there was no such file.

Dunno what I can possibly do here with my mighty packaging powers. Any clue?

I think this topic is somehow related: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1522517

If they really are, this bug doesn't affect only java applications but basically everything that uses libEGL. Installing intel-ucode package seems to have fixed the issue for a user who traced it back to HLE ops.

Thanks Marius!

Installing the intel-ucode package (https://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/any/intel-ucode/),
and after that updating grub as instructed in the wiki (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Microcode) solved the issue for me as well.

No issues with nvidia 349.16-1 installed.

Glad it's working for you now :)

Nonetheless we should think about reporting this upstream.
