Details

- xorg-xinit optdepends is obsolete since xbmc.service was removed.
- upower is not a makedepends, it builds fine without it since upower is only used via D-Bus.
- polkit should be optdepends, it is necessary for power management to work (this also explains the confusion in #40247).
