Details
I tested this with the newest wine release on two machines
and the /usr/share/wine/fonts/sserife.fon is broken so that
a few chars are displayed wrong.
It isn't a wine bug (since the fon files seem to be generated out of ttf files) and I verified that the bug doesn't exist on a different 1.7.8 setup (not arch). If you want to verify the problem open the file with fontforge and take a look at the small w. With kind regards, Thomas Schneider PS Happy Holidays |

Well, how would this be broken though due to a packaging bug? Any
ideas?
Looks like Debian has similar problem (but with wine 1.6.1):

Well how would I go about fixing this? Where does the problem even
come from anyway?
