Details
Description: After some minutes of inactivity, gnome
screensaver locks the screen. When I click on the screen, I
can see the arrows. I drag the screen, and enter my password
to unlock. About one third ot the times, instead of my
desktop I see a grey screen, with the upper bar showing
three or four icons (battery, volume). Then I can't unlock
in any way. I have to switch to a console with CTRL-ALT-2,
and issue a killall -HUP gnome-shell.
Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. The system is an HP laptop 6710b, with an Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller. I have a dual screen configuration with a docking station and an external monitor. The system is updated, no testing repo. I use systemd, and have removed sysvinit. I haven't found anything extrange in dmesg, journalctl or Xorg.0.log, Steps to reproduce: I can't find a pattern. It happens some times, others it works fine. It has failed twice this morning, the last time it has unlocked fine. |
