Description:
Gimp 2.8.0-2 is built without ghostscript support, which implies inability to open or export to postscript files (EPS). I downloaded the PKGBUILD and related files from https://projects.archlinux.org/svntogit/packages.git/tree/trunk?h=packages/gimp and rebuilt it with ghostscript already installed and the postscript support is back. Steps to reproduce: Install gimp. It's not possible to open or export to EPS. Rebuild gimp with ghostscript package installed and problem is solved. |

I work a lot with eps and ps files with gimp. Yes, I know that for
some of you this might not be the very best solution but trust me
that it is quite handy. The current lack of ghostscript support it
is a big problem for my daily work flow. Please repack it
correctly so this is not an issue any longer.
