it needs to use epoch to fix this inconsistency or change pkgver to 23.3.a if you don't want to use epoch.

also the build is a bit messy like $startdir/src instead of $srcdir and $startdir/pkg instead of $pkgdir

Updated PKGBUILD checked in that fixes the version stuff, and incorporates a handful of changes from  FS#23435 .
