Description:
When running upgrade with pacman, the latest Emacs is not upgraded, but a message is displayed:
warning: emacs: local (23.3-1) is newer than extra (23.3a-1)

I have seen similar situations with other packages (a newer package represented as older). Manual upgrade is of possible, but it would be better if the version numbers were chosen such that pacman could actually do its job and upgrade. One shouldn't have to check if that version is _really_ newer or older.
