Update, happens with pavucontrol as well (same error), probably is
related to glibmm rather than gnote specifically. Could someone
please move it to 'Arch Linux' rather than 'Community Packages'?
I also think it's a glibmm problem, Inkscape is affected as well.

is this on x86_64? do you have multilib-testing enabled? :D
You know, I could have sworn that when [multilib] was started I
specifically asked on its ML whether multilib-testing existed and
got some sort of 'not yet' answer.... Enabled it now, thanks. That
solves this issue.
