Description:

3rd party modules are broken with new kernel 2.6.28.2. They need to be recompiled with gcc 4.3.3 i think in order for them to work now.

I know this cause aufs is broken. It cause a kernel opps.
This also happen with my own kernel module package sqlzma. I can't even build it.

here is my older bug report:
http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/13006

you have to recompile the 3rd party kernel modules with gcc 4.3.3 or reverse back to gcc 4.3.2.

Possible fix is to rebuild every 3rd party kernel modules wtih gcc 4.3.3

I recompiled aufs with new gcc and kernel and it works now just fine in virtualbox.

I have no issues with nvidia either, but catalyst may differ.  FS#13084

I would think that catalyst would be build with the new kernel and gcc. Then again i could be wrong.
