Description:
The new kernel 2.6.28.2 was compiled with gcc 4.3.3 when it shouldn't have been. This is cause if you compile a new kernel you will have to use the same gcc 4.3.3 for all kernel 3rd party modules. I know this cause aufs in extra and my own sqlzma kernel module is broken with kernel 2.6.28.2. It works fine before gcc 4.3.3. I also can't even recompile sqlzma with the new gcc 4.3.3. Additional info: kernel 2.6.28.2-1 package Steps to reproduce: install new kernel try to use a 3rd party kernel or aufs to see kernel opps |
