Epiphany needs a recompile against xulrunner 1.8.1.8 it seems. I couldn't reproduce your font problem, but I can reproduce problems with downloads. Epiphany 2.20.1-1 will be in the repositories soon.

I've got the same problem with the fonts with the new xulrunner update.

Hello I have the same problem.
Here is a page where epiphany does not work well (font problem) : http://www.archlinux.org/
The welcome section is not displayed correctly.
I have xulrunner 1.8.1.8-1
I have compiled Epiphany 2.20.1-1 (changed version ans md5 in PKGBUILD) and I have still the same problem.

I do not considere this problem as a "low" priority, personaly.

Thank you very much for your help.
Cheers,

Chicha

I have downgraded epiphany to 2.20.0 and xulrunner to 1.8.1.6 and things are back to normal.
A problem with xulrunner ? I did not found anything about this in gnome's bugzilla.

Cheers,
Chicha

Looks like we missed this patch when applying the new redhat/fedora patches:

http://cvs.fedora.redhat.com/viewcvs/devel/firefox/firefox-1.5-xft-rangewidth.patch?rev=1.1&view=auto

This only happens with Xft rendering and it's something with the width that is affected, this should be the missing patch for this problem.

xulrunner -2 incorporates the patch already. firefox & seamonkey will folllow shortly.

I had this problem on archlinux.org (chars in About box were messed). The last patch fixed this.
