Description:
After upgrading to the latest version of xulrunner, I found that the letters of certain fonts always overlap horribly, making text unreadable. See for example this screenshot of the Arch Linux main page: http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/5696/screenshotarchlinuxet4.png Additional info: * xulrunner 1.8.1.8-1 * Bad rendering occurs whether or not I export MOZ_DISABLE_PANGO=1 in /etc/profile (i.e. make Epiphany use XFT). Steps to reproduce: 1. Upgrade to xulrunner 1.8.1.8-1. 2. Launch (or restart) a browser that uses it. 3. Go to archlinux.org and check out the nifty runes where the description of Arch Linux used to be. Alternatively, go to osnews.com and see if you can make sense of any of the articles/blurbs. (Note also that restarting your machine won't help.) |
