Description:
Every time after xorg upgrade there is problem with russian phonetic layout with sign "-" (minus) and "_" (underscore), instead of them i get "\" and "¿". to solve this, i need manually change file /usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols/ru, to fix the problem. Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. xkeyboard-config 1.2-1 (owns file /usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols/ru) part of xorg.conf: Section "InputDevice" Identifier "Keyboard0" Driver "kbd" Option "AutoRepeat" "500 30" Option "XkbRules" "xorg" Option "XkbModel" "pc105" Option "XkbLayout" "lv,ru" Option "XkbVariant" ",phonetic" Option "XkbOptions" "grp:ctrl_shift_toggle" EndSection to fix that problem, i need to put line key <AE11> { [ minus, underscore ] }; to the part partial alphanumeric_keys xkb_symbols "phonetic" { name[Group1]= "Russia - Phonetic"; |
