Details

Description:
First, I use testing.

After I upgraded to the new version of initscripts, filesystem and udev my system take very long time to start up and lots of process are going slow few minutes after boot.
I make a bootchart there show lots of problem with the mod-blacklist.

I have very slow boot with new initscripts too. Now, not only loading udev events takes a long time. Its also setting the console charset and console font that are very slow. I also have the feeling my whole system is slower somehow with yesterdays packages upgrade (pacman,filesystem,fakeroot,kernel, udev,initscripts,xorg).

Yes my console charset and font take also long time to set but I think its because the CPU use lots of load to the mod-blacklist script.

I have the same problem, startup is alot slower and when using the OS itself i really feel a lost of performance.

I have same problem. Problem is in /lib/udev/mod-blacklist.sh, however when i comment all lines without
line 46: echo "MOD_AUTOLOAD=\"$MOD_AUTOLOAD\""
everything seems ok, start is very quick and everything work good

Problem is in /lib/udev/mod-blacklist.sh because everything what is in it run very slowly. I make some pkgbuilds with patch whitch cut content from mod-blacklist.sh and move it to initscripts rc.sysinit.

I didn't check your changes, but I would rather move it back to load-modules.sh, where it was initially.

udev 118-2 took 28+ seconds to start the uevents
udev 118-4 does 6 seconds
