CONFIG_POWER_SUPPLY CONFIG_ACPI_BATTERY does the same thing. i blacklisted battery modul and solve the problem.

you can close this task

If battery module is blacklisted, the gnome-power-manager can't find any batteries.

Unloading the battery module removes one of the two batteries. Removing it from rc.conf MODULES= like also keeps the battery module from loading as well.

Opps I spoke too soon, it autoloads itself. I guess somebody needs to fix that.

it's related to kernel not g-p-m
Comment by Jason Carr (jason2) - Monday, 24 March 2008, 23:20 GMT
yes, it needs to be reassigned to the correct item to get fixed.
Comment by Ionut Biru (wonder) - Monday, 24 March 2008, 23:27 GMT
jason2 if you blacklist battery g-p-m will show you one battery until you reboot. after that g-p-m can't find any battery
