Description:
On my machines ddcxinfo isn't picking up the monitor information: #ddcxinfo-arch -hsync -vsync 0-0 0-0 Additional info: * package version(s) 0.8-1 * Suggested fix I have compiled the knoppix version and that seems to work fine: # ddcxinfo-arch -hsync -vsync 30-60 56-75 PKGBUILD As the versions are rather different I changed the package name here, but for backward compatibility I changed the name of the binary to ddcxinfo-arch. I also included the ddcprobe utility as I thought it might be useful. I'm afraid I don't have a 64-bit machine so I can't test it on that architecture. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- pkgname=ddcxinfo-knoppix pkgver=0.6.8 _knxpkgv1=0.6 _knxpkgver=0.6-8 pkgrel=1 arch=('i686') license=('GPL') pkgdesc="utility to probe non/ddc monitors - used by hwd" url="" conflicts=('ddcxinfo-arch') provides=('ddcxinfo-arch') source=(http://debian-knoppix.alioth.debian.org/sources/ddcxinfo-knoppix_$_knxpkgver.tar.gz) md5sums=('dc7226f567e424448f96af0adb5d0dd1') build() { cd $startdir/src/ddcxinfo-knoppix-$_knxpkgv1 make || return 1 install -D -m755 ddcprobe $startdir/pkg/usr/sbin/ddcprobe install -D -m755 ddcxinfo-knoppix $startdir/pkg/usr/sbin/ddcxinfo-arch } -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

can you try to reach the original author Elia Yehuda <z4ziggy@user-contributions.org> about this? it is upstream and he should have a look at
this.
Any news from upstream?
Still a problem?
