Description: on an Italian language system, Banshee is mostly in English language. So I've downloaded the source code of Banshee and I've looked at the "po/it.po" file... the Italian translation seems complete, so I don't understand why the installed version is 90% in English language.

Additional info:
* package version(s): banshee 0.13.1-2

are you sure those translated messages are not marked as fuzzy?
Comment by Manuel C. (ekerazha) - Tuesday, 11 December 2007, 08:47 GMT
Yes... there isn't any "fuzzy" tag and that file seems 99% complete.

Banshee 0.13.2 is out. This could be a good opportunity to inspect this issue.

Banshee 0.98.1 is out (new major version). I don't know if the new version has this issue.
Comment by Giovanni Cucca (Spawn) - Sunday, 30 March 2008, 21:25 GMT
I've installed Banshee 0.98.1 from the [testing] repo and the issue is still there.

The situation seems improved using 0.98.2 (it isn't inside any repository still).
