This is a well-known bug in Nautilus and it has been reported to the upstream long time ago. There is a fix for this bug and it would be great to have a patched version in Arch. It seems that Nautilus developers aren't going to release next nautilus version anytime soon because they're working on gio support for Gnome 2.22.

I have already done a modified PKGBUILD with additional patches (from Gentoo Linux) that'll fix this and some of the other problems in this release. Feel free to use.

Additional info:
* nautilus 2.20.0-3

Steps to reproduce:
Browse some images and no borders are shown.
