Details

A lot of the CUPS drivers require Ghostscript to function properly. It would be nice to have Ghostscript added as a dependency for CUPS.

A lot, but not all. Ghostscript is not a runtime dependency of cups (otherwise cups wouldn't start up). It's left to the admin to install things like ghostscript and gimp-print.
