Description:
With systray-x-kde 0.9.6-1 I see Thunderbird eating 100% of a single core on every modification of folder content (new mail arrives, a message is moved/deleted etc.). This makes the UI laggy and barely usable, until the CPU usage goes back to normal after several seconds. Downgrading to 0.9.5-2 fixes the problem. Additional info: * package version(s) systray-x-kde 0.9.6-1 thunderbird 115.4.1-1 Steps to reproduce: 1) move a message from a folder to another 2) see the CPU usage increase and the GUI become laggy |

Thanks for the report, I confirm the issue. Same behavior on my side with systray-x-common (so it's not specific to the Arch kde variant, it's a bug with systray-x as a whole).
However, the update to 0.9.6 was a simple version bump: https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/packaging/packages/systray-x/-/commit/acbf73d4900540615d89f5f7be21c51c9e3103ea
So it looks like an upstream issue more than a packaging issue.
Have you reported that on upstream side yet? If not, it would be great if you could: https://github.com/Ximi1970/systray-x/issues :)
Don't hesitate to link the upstream report there so I can follow it and update/fix the package accordingly!

I let you confirm before closing this ticket :)
