All versions since this commit: https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/packaging/packages/zeromq/-/commit/f3470220a8133bb2ddd04046b70140dd3847f3d1 have had curve authentication disabled due to switching the build system to CMake.

Upstream disables this by default: https://github.com/zeromq/libzmq/blob/95caddb9a1ed017d83296c6110de023a5fded519/CMakeLists.txt#L261
