Details

Description:

The `checkupdates` is not working it's always return:
`==> ERROR: Cannot fetch updates`

Tbh I don't known why is it super complicated..
I worked around my problem with a simple:
`pacman -Qu | wc -l`

Steps to reproduce:
run `checkupdates`

Sounds like an issue with your mirrors. Perhaps try using reflector https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/any/reflector/
