Description:
Upgraded this morning to chromium-116.0.5845.96-1. After this upgrade, my Chromium password vault was completely empty. Server side is unaffected, password vault still works on my other Google/Android clients. Downgrading back to 115.0.5790.170-1 brought everything back to normal There was a dependency on re2-1:20230801-1 I also had to downgrade to 1:20230301-1. On my system, I have this set in ~/.config/chromium-flags.conf
It would have been nice if this regression had been mentioned/highlighted in the Wiki.
Please close. Hopefully this record will be useful for others who run against this problem.
