Description:

Upgraded this morning to chromium-116.0.5845.96-1.
After this upgrade, my Chromium password vault was completely empty.
Server side is unaffected, password vault still works on my other Google/Android clients.

Downgrading back to 115.0.5790.170-1 brought everything back to normal
There was a dependency on re2-1:20230801-1 I also had to downgrade to 1:20230301-1.

FWIW, I have my local browser password cache set up with --password-store=gnome

Additional info:
* package version(s)
* config and/or log files etc.
* link to upstream bug report, if any

Solution is to update --password-store=gnome to --password-store=gnome-libsecret
On my system, I have this set in ~/.config/chromium-flags.conf

It would have been nice if this regression had been mentioned/highlighted in the Wiki.

Please close. Hopefully this record will be useful for others who run against this problem.
Thanks for all your efforts maintaining this very complex package.
