Hey! This is only a proposal for a description renaming, I
hope it's okay to file it as low-level feature request.
The python core package currently provides this description: "Next generation of the python high-level scripting language". IMHO this description is outdated in several ways. Especially, I think, the reason for "next generation" was while Python 2 and Python 3 co-existed some time ago, which is not the case anymore. Can you please rename the description to something more generic, like "The Python high-level programming language" or just "The Python programming language". This would describe both content and usage of this important package more precisely. (Personally, I'm also not a fan of distinguishing between programming languages and scripting languages, as they are actually the same). Thanks a lot, and keep up the good work on Arch Linux! |
