Description:

Bear in mind, that I've originally reported similar request some 6-7 years ago - see https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/50548.

Back then upstream was building with autotools was defaulting to building with webkit. As pointed in the reason for closing "Upstream builds with webkit2gtk by default, so we leave it that way". Over the years upstream moved to meson and with that, have changed their stance over about a year now https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/zenity/-/commit/d1a5cd3b915a18217c20581aa2d1a4a8c5918a01.

Can we please reconsider and build without webkit, following upstream? As you know fairly well browsers (libraries) are huge as well as security nightmare.

Thanks in advance
