Description:
Last night I performed a full system upgrade and now I have the following problem (never happened before):

modprobe ndiswrapper
FATAL: Module ndiswrapper not found.

So I tried:

slocate ndiswrapper.ko
/lib/modules/2.6.22-ARCH/misc/ndiswrapper.ko

uname -r
2.6.22-ARCH

The the module seems to be compiled for the right kernel version. So I just did:

insmod /lib/modules/2.6.22-ARCH/misc/ndiswrapper.ko

That worked, but modprobe will not work.

does 'depmod -a' fix modprobe ?

I lost power my PC and subsequently ran fsck. After that it seems to work fine. Thanks.
