Description:
Since the kernel upgrade from linux-6.1.3.arch1-1 to linux-6.1.4.arch1-1 and up to the current linux-6.1.6.arch1-1, brightness control does not work on my laptop (Honor MagicBook 14 ryzen5-3500u (NBLK-WAX9X M1010)). Also the /sys/class/brightness directory is empty. At first I noticed that there was no brightness when the brightness indicator disappeared on my waybar and I looked into /sys/class/backlight and this folder became empty. However, other indicators, such as the caps lock indicator are working. cpu: Ryzen 5 3500U gpu: ATI Radeon Vega 8 Mobile To switch the brightness, I use the "light(aur)" program and since the update to 6.1.4, it gives an error that "No backlight controller was found, so we could not decide an automatic target.". And there is no brightness slider in gnome de at all. Additional info: * linux-6.1.3.arch1-1 > everything works fine * linux-6.1.4.arch1-1 > brightness is broken * linux-6.1.6.arch1-1 > still brocken Steps to reproduce: I rolled back to the linux-6.1.3.arch1-1 |
