DetailsDescription:
The desktop file /usr/share/applications/discord.desktop should specify Discord as a handler for the "discord://" URL scheme. Therefore, xdg-open fails to interpret such links properly and defaults to opening them in the web browser. Steps to reproduce: 1. xdg-open "discord://discordapp.com/channels/someId/someId2/someId3" 2. This opens the browser. Expected behaviour: The above-mentioned URL should be handled by the application. Proposed fix: Add the following declaration in discord.desktop file: ```desktop MimeType=x-scheme-handler/discord; ``` |
