Details

I tried to start the Cheese (41.1) application in Gnome 43 (testing) and the following error was shown in the terminal:

cheese: error while loading shared libraries: libgnome-desktop-3.so.19: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

For the application work again I created the following symbolic link:

# ln -s /usr/lib/libgnome-desktop-3.so /usr/lib/libgnome-desktop-3.so.19
