Description:
When doing 'pacman -S gnome' only 'gnome-icon-theme' shows up at first. You have to answer Y/n to the question to view the rest of the packages in the group. See also "libgnomeprintui and gnome-icon-theme are in [current]
http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/7619" as I suspect that is the cause.

Pacman scans groups per repository. When installing the gnome
group with packages in current and extra, it asks for each repo it
finds packages in. The questioned packages have been moved to
extra now.
