There is no section for the community repo, but I've been
directed to submit this here
https://github.com/Foxboron/archlinux-pkgbuilds/pull/15 Description: python-rope has a new listed dependency that is currently not available in arch repos The new dependency as listed in pyproject.toml is "pytoolconfig >= 1.1.2" Either a new package for pytoolconfig must be made (project listed at https://github.com/bagel897/pytoolconfig) Or an install script in the PKGBUILD can install pytoolconfig using pip, which I am not sure fits the Arch ethos, but I can't find a clear answer on It is possible removing the listing for this dependency would work, although python-rope appears to have gone through a rebase Additional info: Version: 1.30 Steps to reproduce: Install python-rope and try to use it |
