Description:
With a default install of arch64 (duke) and after fully updating, host fails with:
Host not found (Authoritative answer)


Additional info:
Also fails when editing /etc/hosts to:

127.0.0.1 <hostname>.<networkname> <hostname>




Steps to reproduce:
Install arch64, pacman host, and $host google.com (or any site)
