Details
Description:
From: https://wiki.openjdk.java.net/display/shenandoah/Main Shenandoah is the low pause time garbage collector that reduces GC pause times by performing more garbage collection work concurrently with the running Java program. Distributions such as Debian, Ubuntu, RH, Fedora, etc and standalone distributions such as Corretto and Adoptium already enable it. Could ArchLinux package enable it as well? Enabling it requires adding an additional option to the build --with-jvm-features=shenandoahgc Without this feature, some software that tries to use the GC fails with: Unrecognized VM option 'UseShenandoahGC' Additional info: * package version(s): 11.0.15.u10-1 * config and/or log files etc. * link to upstream bug report, if any Steps to reproduce: |
