Same problem: Qualcomm Atheros QCA9565 / AR9565 Wireless Network Adapter (rev 01)

Shouldn't this bug have a higher severity? Not sure if there was an easier way, but the only solution for me was to boot the Arch ISO and install linux-lts from there, my laptop was basically useless until then

Yes it should, I made a mistake but when the bug report was published it was too late, and I can't modify it unless I delete this and remake one.

Is there an upstream bug report for the issue? Have you tested 5.19-rc1 to see if the issue is still present? Have you bisected between 5.17 and 5.18 to find the causal commit?

I just tried 5.19-rc1 (using linux-mainline from aur), and problem still persists (I have Qualcomm Atheros AR93xx).

I linked a trial kernel to the forum thread https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=2040257#p2040257
Edit:
Test kernel appears to have located the cause.

Two other threads on the issue
