(This is likely an upstream issue but raising here first to
see if anyone else can confirm the bug)
xorg i3-wm chromium-102.0.5005.61 AMD Radeon RX 570 Steps to reproduce: 1. set DPMS to very short timeout for testing purposes, eg: $ xset s off dpms 10 10 10 2. open chromium and play any video (eg: YouTube) 3. close tab that played the video, but leave chromium running 4. note that DPMS screen blanking no longer works Downgrade back to chromium-101.0.4951.64 and everything works again. |

It has been fixed see : https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=1329573#c5 also tested on v103.0.5060.134-1, its working fine.
attaching patch, it is modified patch(for backporting purpose, otherwise take patch directly from the above link) from the original, with correcting hunks location from a newer version of chromium (thats it, no contents has been modified)
please backport to 103, 104...
or users please build from source. Thank you
