Description:

As the Wiki suggests there is "old" software out there which depends on `/etc/hosts` having the localhost entries. Seemingly new software (eg flatpak) struggles to work correctly if the entries are missing.

Having them in /etc/hosts is zero-maintenance while debugging related issues can take notable amount of time.
Please consider reinstating the entries (note they used to be a thing before the "Winter" [3])
