DetailsDescription:
The yt-dlp PKGBUILD currently has: depends=(python-mutagen python-pycryptodomex python-websockets) but none of these three packages are required for normal functionality like downloading Youtube videos, getting Twitch stream URLs, etc. It also works directly with mpv without any of them installed. I'd like to suggest putting them in the optional dependencies instead. If this is done, python should be the only item listed in depends=() (it's not currently there at all since those modules pull it in) |
