Description:
Yesterday updated my system via usual path: pacman -Sy + pacman -Su. Everything went ok, no problems so far. My system (XPS15 2019) runs on zen kernel, bumblebee is not installed or activated, and the nvidia card is not in use, only intel. System boots fine, everything ok, but after logging in in KDE, the icons and all visual artifacts have gone into huge sizes, both for the windows toolbars, the main panel, specifically system tray and panel manager buttons. I've checked the icon sizes, window configurations, kde themes, with no visual change. I've checked all kind of tricks from the wiki for my laptop, as well as checked some of the comments in the hidpi wiki. Nothing makes it to come back to normal. Checked also to run the system in LTS kernel, instead of Zen. Does not make a difference, seems not related to hardware, but to something changed in the KDE packages. Attached some screenshots to show the issue. Additional info: * package version(s) kernel 5.10.78 Plasma 5.23.3 KDE Framework 5.87.0 Qt: 5.15.2 Kernel 5.10.78-1-lts / 5.14.16-zen1-1 * config and/or log files etc. * link to upstream bug report, if any Steps to reproduce: |
