Description:
Since the update to version 21.1.0-1, graphical applications that uses OpenGL to render present graphical glitches and artifacts on my system with a Radeon R7 360 GPU. Reverting to the previous version (21.0.3-3) fixes the problem. Here are some videos I recorded on how the graphical glitches look: https://i.imgur.com/EhmlFL2.mp4 https://i.imgur.com/I9vvWtH.mp4 Additional info: * package version(s): 21.0.1-1 * Sytem info (provided by kinfocenter): Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.82.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 Kernel Version: 5.12.3-arch1-1 OS Type: 64-bit Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 8 × AMD Ryzen 5 1400 Quad-Core Processor Memory: 15.6 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon ™ R7 300 Series Upstream bugreports: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/issues/4764 https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/issues/4766 Steps to reproduce: 1) setup an intallation with KDE Plasma and a Radeon R7 360 (I don't have the means to test if this depends on the hardware or the desktop environment) 2) open an OpenGL app, like Plasma with compositing enabled or a game like team Fortress 2. |
