Details

gnome-network-manager refuses to install if Xfce4 is installed.

The conflict message when installing is:
/usr/share/dbus-1/services/org.freedesktop.Notifications.service: exists in "notification-daemon" (target) and "notification-daemon-xfce" (target)

If both daemons implement the same interface, then notification-daemon-xfce should provide notification-daemon.
