Could you hand me more steps to reproduce?

I have:
- python-numpy installed
- installed TMDB Helper
- searched for a tv show in TMDB helper
- browsed around

No crash yet

i see the old plugin.video.themoviedb.helper-2.4.36 in kodi repo doesn't use PIL by default
use the current version from https://github.com/jurialmunkey/repository.jurialmunkey
or attached plugin.video.pilcrash.zip one line plugin that imports PIL

On first look I would say the crash happens in numpy and that makes that kodi dies

Maybe this is also something jurialmunkey could look into, because the TMDB Helper plugin does not depend on numpy as well
