Details
I currently have installed
- GIMP 2.10.22-1 - GEGL 0.4.28-1 - mesa 20.3.4-3 - xf86-video-intel 1:2.99.917+916+g31486f40-1 My pc is running an intel i5-3570 and no gpu. When I try to start GIMP, I get "GEGL operation missing! GIMP requires the GEGL operation "gegl:introspect". This operatino cannot be found. Check your GEGL install and ensure it has been compiled with any dependencies required for GIMP." I tried reinstalling both GIMP and GEGL with no success. I can't find much information about this anywhere else except for this place: https://www.gimp-forum.net/Thread-GEGL-operation-missing But this is about the Windows AppImage of Gimp. This is my first time trying to run it on this pc. The same packages work perfectly fine on my Laptop which has a much older i5 M 520 so I don't think that any hardware is causing this. I don't know where to begin testing this |
