Description:

The ufw package does not install the bash completion script available from the project source - see https://git.launchpad.net/ufw/tree/shell-completion/bash.

Manually downloading and sourcing the file returns command completions as expected.

Additional info:
ufw 0.36-5

1.5 years old and nothing happened.
Please take a second and add something like this:
install -Dm644 "$srcdir/shell-completion/bash" "$pkgdir/usr/share/bash-completion/completions/ufw"

to PKGBUILD.
Thanks!

Does 0.36.1-2 in [community-testing] work ok for you?

  • Field changed: Percent Complete (100% → 0%)
Doesn't work for me - ufw completion script is in `usr/share/bash-completion/completions/ufw/bash` - and it seems that the bash completion script doesn't check subfolders?

Thanks for the pointer. There was an extra -t in the install command that created a "ufw" directory instead of installing the file as "ufw" in the proper directory. How's 0.36.1-3 work for you?

That's it, it's fixed now - thanks!
