Description:

After the latest update of the NVIDIA packages, my whole display freezes on mouse movement.
For example : when watching a youtube video, on each mouse movement, you can see the video freeze, then continue when the mouse stops. Sound is not affected.

That means that on continuous mouse movement, the display is completely frozen until the mouse stops.

It has been resolved after I downgraded the packages to the previous version.

Reason for closing:  Upstream
Additional comments about closing:  Sorry, there's absolutely nothing we can do here in the downstream. This does not sound like a packaging problem and as such there's nothing I can do. Please report this to nvidia directly.

Hi, I tried today to update these four packages to version 455.45.01-1, and it still occurs. I then tried to downgrade to 455.38, still no improvement.

I am now back to version 455.28, which still works.
Tested on kernel 5.9.10-zen1-1-zen as well as 5.4.79-1-lts.

Current KDE versions :

Operating System: Arch Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 5.20.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.76.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2
Kernel Version: 5.9.10-zen1-1-zen
OS Type: 64-bit
Processors: 8 × Intel® Core™ i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz
