ALL MIRRORS HAVE BEEN SYNCED. I USE THE LATEST VERSIONS.

cvs calls for libdb-4.4.so which should not since it has been built against libdb-4.5.

More generally other upgraded packages seem to call old versions of libraries.

Can it be an ldconfig issue or something close?

Thanks

Do you have cvs-1.11.22-4? Works fine here.
I highly recommend to indicate package versions instead of "all packages are up-to-date"-like statements.

yes cvs 1.11.22-4 and db 4.5.20-1.
my mirror is ftp.archlinux.org.

I tried to remove cvs and db, purge /var/cache, reload them from server and reinstall them. same result.

Also, see this forum thread. Problem is not only mine.

hrm cvs works fine here too, which heimdal version you have?
if cvs is seriously broken i wonder that now dev reported the issue already since we all use cvs

good guess. upgrading heimdal solved the issue (to 0.7.2.6). however, this upgrade was not triggered by the cvs upgrade, so there might be a risk for other users.

Thanks.
